Requirements & Qualifications
- Nebraska State Speech Language Pathologist License required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Experience working with elementary-aged students (K-6)
- Strong assessment and intervention skills for diverse communication disorders
- Knowledge of school-based speech language pathology practices
- Ability to step into established caseload and provide continuity of services
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and educational teams
- Commitment to full-time, on-site employment (37.5 hours per week)
- Availability from March 18, 2026 through May 22, 2026
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services to K-6 elementary students
- Serve as leave coverage through the end of the school year
- Step into established caseload and maintain continuity of services
- Conduct evaluations and assessments as needed
- Implement existing treatment plans and interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
- Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs
- Provide consultation services to teachers and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Work on-site Monday through Friday
