School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist Bellevue, NE (20252026)
Position Overview:
Bellevue Public Schools is seeking a friendly Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2025–2026 academic year. In this full-time, on-site role, you will assess and treat communication needs, design and manage IEPs, and work alongside educators and families to ensure every K–12 student’s speech and language goals are met.
Primary Duties (concise):

Conduct speech and language screenings and evaluations aligned with IDEA and Nebraska guidelines

Create, implement, and monitor IEPs—writing clear objectives and tracking student progress
-
Deliver individual or group therapy sessions for articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic skills

Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents to coordinate interventions

Keep accurate records (assessment reports, therapy logs, progress notes) and attend IEP meetings
-
Provide coaching to teachers and paraprofessionals on classroom strategies for communication goals
Required Credentials (concise):
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a CAA-accredited program
-
Active CCC-SLP from ASHA (or eligibility to obtain within one year)

Valid Nebraska SLP license and NDE Instructional Certificate with SLP endorsement (or eligibility)

Understanding of IDEA, Nebraska special education regulations, and related assessment procedures

Completion of state background check, TB testing, and Mandated Reporter training
