School Speech Language Pathologist - Mc Veytown, Pennsylvania

This contract opportunity supports students in Mifflin or Juniata Counties, with start and end dates spanning September 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027. While the main office is located in McVeytown, the specific school assignment within these counties will be determined after your interview, allowing placement that best aligns with both your interests and the needs of local students.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Demonstrated experience working with school-aged children or adolescents
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability to serve various caseloads and school settings as assigned
- Commitment to professional ethical and state regulatory standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders within a school setting
- Develop individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support diverse student needs
- Maintain detailed records of student performance and communicate results with families and staff
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations to support student development
- Adapt therapy techniques based on individual student learning styles and needs
