Position Details:
- Location: State College, PA
- Contract length: ASAP through June 11th
- Caseload: Preschool Early Intervention
- Service model: Itinerant, traveling to multiple school locations
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and evaluations for children ages 3-5
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to the needs of preschoolers in early intervention
- Providing direct therapy services to support speech and language development
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support each child’s progress
- Maintaining clear and accurate documentation of services and progress reports
- Flexibly managing caseload across multiple school sites within the district
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in early intervention or school-based settings
- Strong skills in assessment, goal setting, and therapy for speech and language delays
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload while traveling between locations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
