Blazer Jobs is working closely with public school districts throughout Montana to hire qualified and committed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2025–2026 academic year. About the Role
As a school-based SLP in Montana, you’ll support K–12 students in developing effective speech, language, and communication skills essential for academic and social success. Your responsibilities will include evaluations, direct intervention, and collaboration with education teams to support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
We are placing professionals in multiple school districts, including Billings, Missoula, Great Falls, Bozeman, Butte, Helena, and Kalispell.
Responsibilities

Conduct speech and language assessments for students across various grade levels

Provide both individual and group therapy sessions based on IEP objectives
-
Develop treatment plans that comply with Montana Office of Public Instruction (OPI) standards

Document student progress while maintaining all state and federal compliance standards

Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and families to support student development
-
Supervise SLP Assistants (SLPAs), if permitted under Montana licensure guidelines
Qualifications

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Valid Montana SLP license or the ability to obtain licensure before the school year begins

Strong understanding of IEP processes and IDEA requirements

Experience in a pediatric or school-based setting preferred
-
Must pass district-specific background and fingerprinting checks
