Sunbelt Staffing is partnering with a local school district near Belfast, ME to hire a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time school-based role.

Position Overview

This SLP will support students ages 11–18 in a small high school setting with minimal behavioral needs. Services are fully caught up, and the therapist will step into a well-established program.

Assignment Details

  • Start / End Date: January 5, 2026 – June 13, 2026

  • Hours: 24–28 hours per week

  • Student Age Range: Middle & High School (11–18 years old)

  • School Day: 7:45 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Job Duties

  • Provide direct speech therapy per student IEPs

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations

  • Write and attend IEP meetings

  • Develop IEP goals and objectives

  • Case manage speech-only students

  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff

  • Maintain session logs for Medicaid billing (district handles billing)

Qualifications

  • Active Maine SLP License required

  • School-based experience preferred
