A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 public school setting in Olympia, WA. This contract role is ideal for a qualified professional holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who is ready to provide in-person services, supporting students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 5th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in grades TK-5, focusing on communication goals outlined in individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments, participate in evaluation determination meetings, and prepare evaluation reports.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams through meetings scheduled before and after school hours.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and service delivery in compliance with school and state standards.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP - CCC).
- Experience providing speech-language services in an educational setting, preferably K-5.
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in person within the assigned school environment.
- Flexibility to attend meetings before and after student hours as necessary.
Schedule and Location:
- Location: Olympia, WA.
- Student-facing hours: 9:15 AM to 3:50 PM.
- Additional meeting times scheduled around student hours.
- Contract duration: Current school year (CSY).
- Position includes 37.5 hours per week on site.
