ProCare Therapy is working with a supportive school district in Washington to hire a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year. This full-time position involves working with middle and high school students, including those in a high school transition program. The caseload is reasonable, and the district is well-structured with excellent on-site and remote support systems.

Role Overview:

  • Schedule: 37.5–40 hours per week

  • Caseload: Max of 50 students

  • Student Population: Grades 6–12, including students in a post-secondary transition program

  • Sites Served:

  • Hawkins Middle School

  • North Mason High School

  • James Taylor High School

  • Homelink Program

Note: Specific school locations will not be disclosed publicly.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy in-person or remotely

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

  • Participate in IEP meetings and ensure documentation is up to date

  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families

  • Support transition-aged students with functional communication needs

  • Maintain compliance with state and district guidelines


Support Provided:

  • If working remotely, the SLP will supervise one on-site SLPA

  • Paraeducators are available to support remote sessions in the building

  • Strong communication and collaboration within the school team

  • Dedicated ProCare Therapy support throughout the school year


Candidate Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Active Washington State SLP license (or ability to obtain before start date)

  • ASHA CCCs preferred; CFs with strong clinical skills will be considered

  • Comfortable working with middle and high school students

  • Ability to manage multiple sites and maintain organized documentation
