School Speech and Language Pathologist | Bel Air, Maryland
This opportunity seeks skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential therapy services across multiple educational settings within a K-12 environment located in Bel Air, MD. These contract positions focus on supporting diverse student populations, from preschool through middle school, with a strong emphasis on collaborative, supervised services.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to preschool, elementary, and secondary students
- Manage caseloads across assigned schools, including itinerant services to community preschool locations and site-specific elementary and middle schools
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLP-A) in a supportive role, ensuring quality care and compliance
- Coordinate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ educational goals
Positions and scheduling details:
- Full-time (37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday) roles available from 12/1/25 through 1/9/26 covering community preschool students attending 5 days/week (itinerant routing)
- Full-time (37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday) position from 2/16/26 to 5/29/26 at Magnolia Elementary and Prospect Mill Elementary serving PreK through 5th grade students
- Part-time (30 hours/week, Monday–Thursday, with option for 5 days) from 3/16/26 to 6/18/26 at Aberdeen Middle School providing services for 6th through 8th graders, including SLP-A supervision
Required qualifications:
- Active Maryland professional licensure as an SLP
- Experience working with preschool, elementary, and secondary populations in school-based settings
- Proven ability to collaborate with support staff, including supervising SLP-As
- Strong communication and organizational skills suited to educational environments
Working on site is required for these roles; remote or hybrid work options are not available.
