Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Beaverton, OR
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a travel assignment in Beaverton, Oregon, serving multiple schools within the Portland area. This role offers flexible scheduling options, with partial FTE positions available at Mountainside High School (.5 FTE) and Findley Elementary School (.6 FTE). Alternatively, candidates may combine these assignments to create a full-time (1.0 FTE) schedule, supported internally to accommodate the extra workload. Additional coverage is needed for ISC programs at William Walker, Beaverton High School, and Southridge High School from March 12 to April 22, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to school-aged children across various settings including elementary, high school, and ISC programs.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized educational plans (IEPs), and implement intervention strategies tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Document services and maintain compliance with state and district requirements.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Oregon state license issued by the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with school-aged populations preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage caseloads across different school environments.
Location:
Beaverton, OR (Portland metropolitan area) – travel between assigned schools is required.
This position is available immediately with an expected end date in June 2026. Assignments are suited for both early-career professionals (0-2 years of experience) and more seasoned practitioners, with competitive pay commensurate with experience.
