This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language services to students across elementary, high school, and specialized programs within the district.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language assessments, therapy, and progress monitoring for a diverse student caseload across three main sites: Mountainside High School (0.5 FTE), Findley Elementary (0.6 FTE), with an option to combine these to a full-time equivalent role.
- Support students in ISC programs at multiple sites including William Walker, Beaverton High School, and Southridge High School.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success strategies.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Oregon state license issued by the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred; 0-10+ years of school-based experience considered.
- Ability to manage caseload and provide services both independently and collaboratively with internal support available.
