Speech Pathology - Beaver, WA
This contract position offers an opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification to work in a school setting located in Beaver, WA for the 2026-2027 academic year. The role focuses primarily on supporting students from pre-kindergarten through first grade, with additional caseload responsibilities involving several older, high-needs students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and support primarily at the elementary level, with services also extending to middle and high school buildings within the same campus.
- Conduct IEP meetings and collaborate with educational staff and families as needed.
- Manage a caseload starting at approximately 36 students, growing to around 42-44 by the end of the school year.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to the needs of mostly mild to moderate speech and language impairments, as well as serve higher-need students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working with early childhood and elementary age groups is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with conducting evaluations and IEP meetings in a school environment.
Schedule and Location:
- Contract position beginning approximately September 1, 2026, through June 15, 2027 (exact calendar to be confirmed).
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with additional time allocated for evaluations and IEP meetings.
This role provides a structured schedule and the chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication and learning across one campus with three buildings.
