School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Bear, Delaware
This opportunity is for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) interested in providing specialized services during an Extended School Year (ESY) program at a K-12 public school setting in Bear, Delaware. The position involves working onsite with students ranging from early childhood to young adults (ages 3–22), addressing speech and language needs across various educational levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring aligned with individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with program requirements.
- Manage caseloads effectively across assigned locations and age groups.
- Participate Monday through Thursday during the ESY period from June 22 to August 7, 2026.
Schedule and Locations:
- Monday through Thursday, 7:05 AM to 2:35 PM with a 30-minute paid lunch.
- Multiple site options available, including elementary, secondary, early childhood, and transition-age programs.
- Sites include PS DuPont, Hanby, SITE (ages 18–22), and Early Childhood Education programs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Delaware Speech-Language Pathology license required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Candidates with Clinical Fellow (CF) status are welcome; SLPA candidates will not be considered.
- Prior K–12 school experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to commit to scheduled ESY dates.
- Willingness to complete required fingerprint background check (candidate cost $85).
