A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a high school serving grades 9-12 in Hernando, MS. This contract role offers an opportunity to work 2-3 days per week throughout the school year, supporting a caseload of approximately 18 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students in grades 9-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and review student goals
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in a school setting, preferably with high school students
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders affecting adolescents
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and effectively
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
