This full-time opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) offers a rewarding role supporting elementary students in an engaging educational environment located in Batavia, NY. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive SLP services to elementary-aged students, focusing on individualized therapy and progress monitoring.
- Implement and utilize AAC strategies to support student communication.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop effective intervention plans.
- Supervise Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) SLPs, providing guidance and professional development.
- Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with district and state regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience in school-based SLP settings.
- Knowledge of AAC systems and their application in educational contexts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Position Details:
- Full-time hours ranging from 37 to 40 per week.
- Contract position for the school year (CSY).
- Onsite work required.
- The role involves filling a vacancy left by a retiring SLP.
