A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a vibrant school setting located in Barrington, IL, with the possibility for two professionals to split the caseload. This role offers the chance to support 45-50 students across two schools, providing essential speech and language therapy to a diverse pediatric population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment and intervention services to students with speech and language disorders.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to promote student success.
  • Provide teletherapy sessions when appropriate, enhancing accessibility and flexibility.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and comply with district, state, and federal regulations.
  • Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring high-quality services across multiple school locations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in both educational and healthcare settings.
  • Previous experience or willingness to provide teletherapy services.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Schedule and Work Environment:

  • Full-time position with the standard hours of 8:42 AM to 3:45 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
  • Wednesdays offer an adjusted schedule from 7:42 AM to 3:15 PM, with flexible timing options available.
  • Opportunity to share the caseload with another clinician if desired.
