Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Bristol, Vermont
An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve a K-12 school with a mixed caseload. This contract position offers a full-time schedule from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours weekly with the possibility of additional hours as needed. The role involves replacing a virtual SLP candidate and provides an engaging environment supporting students across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students with a diverse range of communication disorders
- Manage a mixed caseload that includes teletherapy and in-person sessions
- Collaborate with educators, special education staff, and healthcare providers to deliver effective interventions
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports aligned with state and federal guidelines
- Serve as a case manager for students requiring special education services
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current SLP license, with preference for candidates holding Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 populations
- Background in special education and case management responsibilities
- Familiarity with teletherapy delivery methods and pediatric practice
- Conditioned to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in both healthcare and educational environments
