Speech-Language Pathologist in Bardstown, KY

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide leave coverage at a K-12 school located in Bardstown, KY. This contract role offers an opportunity to support students in grades 3 and 4, with approximately 45 to 50 children requiring services.
Location: Bardstown, KY
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 2:30 PM
Hours: 33.75 hours per week
Duration: Leave coverage, approximately 4 to 6 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students in grades 3 and 4.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet students' needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes according to school guidelines.
- Participate in meetings as needed to discuss student progress and plans.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification/license appropriate for school settings.
- Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in grades 3 and 4.
- Strong understanding of pediatric speech-language disorders and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
