Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Full-Time (Itinerant Role)
Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time itinerant position within a dynamic and supportive school district. This is a school-based opportunity serving students in grades K-12, with a primary focus on middle and high school (MS/HS) level caseloads.
The successful candidate will travel between up to three school sites, working collaboratively with educators, families, and related service providers to support the communication and academic needs of students.
This role is ideal for an SLP who is adaptable, highly organized, and committed to making a lasting impact in the lives of students through speech and language support.
Position Details:

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Standard school hours, Monday – Friday

Caseload: K–12th grade, primarily middle and high school students

Placement: Itinerant (supporting up to three schools)

Service Delivery: May include a combination of in-person and virtual sessions, depending on district policy and student needs

Start/End Dates: TBD (Pending additional details from the district)
More specifics regarding caseload size, therapy models, and school assignments are currently being gathered and will be shared with qualified candidates.
Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations in accordance with federal and state regulations

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet each student’s communication needs
-
Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group-based, in accordance with IEP goals
-
Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and other related service providers
-
Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided

Consult with families and caregivers to support carryover of therapy strategies at home
-
Travel between assigned school sites in an organized and efficient manner

Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university

Active state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in [State]

Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) supervision available for strong candidates

Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to manage a flexible schedule and prioritize caseloads across multiple school sites

Reliable transportation for travel between schools
