Schedule: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Caseload: 40 students
Grade Levels: K–12 (Primarily Middle and High School)
Setting: Itinerant – 2 School Sites
Position Overview:
Hermon-area schools are seeking a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students across two school sites for the current school year. This itinerant position primarily serves middle and high school students, with a manageable caseload and a consistent daily schedule.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, with a focus on middle and high school levels

Conduct assessments and develop/implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation
-
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families

Support K–12 students as needed, with the majority of services focused on grades 6–12

Travel between two school sites within the Hermon area
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Maine SLP License (or eligibility to obtain)
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
-
Experience with school-based services and secondary-level students

Strong collaboration, time management, and communication skills

Comfortable working across multiple school sites
