A Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide support at a K-12 school in Baltimore, MD. This part-time contract role involves working 1.5 to 2 days per week throughout the current school year. The caseload includes approximately 8 students ranging from elementary to high school levels, predominantly with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and behavioral challenges.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs
- Collaborating with teachers and aides who are present during sessions
- Managing caseload independently as the sole Speech-Language Pathologist on site
- Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with school and state guidelines
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) with experience working in school settings
- Familiarity with ASD and behavioral intervention strategies
- Ability to work part-time with a flexible schedule to meet student needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educational staff
