What You’ll Be Doing as a School SLP
In this role, you’ll work directly with K–12 students to assess and treat communication disorders that impact language, articulation, fluency, and social interaction. You’ll create personalized treatment plans, collaborate with teachers and caregivers, contribute to IEP development, and use data to inform services. Your goal: empower each student to communicate more effectively and participate fully in school life. Whether you're conducting one-on-one therapy sessions, working with small groups, or consulting with staff, your expertise will make a lasting difference.

Florida Licensing and Education Requirements
To qualify for this position in St. Augustine, you’ll need a current Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license through the Florida Department of Health. For school-based roles, you must also obtain a Florida Department of Education certification in Speech-Language Impaired (Grades K–12). Clinical Fellows may be eligible depending on the district’s guidelines, though ASHA certification is strongly preferred.

Explore the Timeless Beauty of St. Augustine
As the oldest continuously inhabited city in the U.S., St. Augustine offers an unbeatable combination of history, charm, and coastal living. It’s an ideal spot to grow both professionally and personally.
