A contract position is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support elementary school students (K-5) in Denver, CO. This role is a leave replacement opportunity with an immediate start or a start date of January 5, 2026, and is expected to continue through March 2026, with strong potential for extension until the end of the school year in May 2026.
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado license as an SLP or SLPA
- Active or eligible for Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification
- Prior experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, evaluations, and therapy services to elementary students
- Collaborate with educational professionals and families to develop individualized treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain accurate records according to school guidelines
- Support students' communication development in alignment with applicable regulations and best practices
Work Details:
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Elementary school environment serving K-5 age group
- Competitive hourly rate starting at $35.87, commensurate with experience
