A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Avondale, AZ, supporting Kindergarten through 8th-grade students in a dynamic school setting. This travel position is designed for an experienced professional holding an Arizona SLP license and IVP card, with no current consideration for Clinical Fellows (CFs). The role includes working Monday through Friday, providing services to a caseload of approximately 80-85 students, with SLPA support available.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to K-8 students, addressing a range of communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes according to state and school policies
- Utilize evidence-based intervention strategies tailored to each student's needs
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student support efforts
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP)
- Experience working within school-aged populations, preferably with K-8 students
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage a large caseload efficiently, with support from SLPA staff
