A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting in Avenal, CA. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring for K-12 students.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Utilize evidence-based techniques to address a variety of speech and language disorders.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide communication supports.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP - CCC, SLP - CFY, or School-based SLP credential).
- Prior experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings.
- Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology assessments and interventions tailored for diverse learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
- Ability to manage caseload and documentation efficiently.
