A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in Avenal, CA, on a contract-to-hire basis through the current school year. This role involves contributing to the development and progress of children with speech and language challenges within a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Provide targeted therapy sessions focusing on speech and language goals.
- Carefully track and document student progress and therapy outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care.
- Engage with students’ families, providing education and support throughout the therapy process.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Preferably hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations is preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Additional Requirements:
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in the respective state.
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology is mandatory.
