Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Aurora, IL
A full or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Aurora, IL. This contract position offers 37.5 hours per week onsite within a school setting. Caseload specifics, including grade levels and number of schools served, will be determined based on placement and district needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students
- Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
Qualifications:
- Possession of a Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement in Illinois
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in school-based settings and pediatric populations
- Strong knowledge of speech-language development and disorders
- Ability to work effectively onsite within a structured school environment
Additional Sector Experience Desired:
- School-based SLP
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience
- Teletherapy capability (though this role is onsite)
- Healthcare setting experience is a plus
