Elementary Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Aurora, Illinois
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving students in elementary or middle school settings within a K-12 environment in Aurora, IL. This contract role offers 37.5 hours per week throughout the school year, focusing on delivering speech and language therapy services to children in the educational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Providing speech-language assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective communication goals
- Maintaining detailed documentation and reporting in compliance with state guidelines
- Supporting early childhood, elementary, and middle school students with varied speech and language challenges
Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois schools issued by ISBE
- Experience working as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist preferred
- Knowledge of pediatric speech-language development and disorders applicable to early childhood through middle school populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams
