Speech Pathology - Aurora, IL
This opportunity seeks experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) fluent in both English and Spanish to provide essential support within multiple school environments. This full-time, on-site contract role, based in the Chicago area, offers the chance to work with diverse student populations in early childhood and elementary settings. Candidates with Illinois Professional Educator Licenses along with SLP endorsements and licensure are encouraged to apply. Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered with supervision provided.
Key Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement.
- Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred.
- Clinical Fellows (CF) eligible with supervision arrangements.
- Ability to manage caseload across multiple school locations.
Location: Aurora, Illinois (with assignments across several nearby school sites, including early childhood and elementary schools).
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services to children aged from early childhood through elementary levels.
- Perform evaluations, create individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver interventions.
- Coordinate itinerant services across up to two schools as needed.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication development.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with district policies.
Schedule:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (approximately 7.5 hours daily).
- Contract term from January 5, 2026, through May 20, 2026.
- Assignments may include multiple school sites with varying full-time equivalent (FTE) percentages.
