Speech and Language Pathologist - Waukegan, IL
A full-time, on-site opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with bilingual skills in English and Spanish. This role supports multiple school sites in the Elgin, IL area, serving early childhood and elementary-aged students. Candidates currently completing Clinical Fellowship (CF) status are encouraged to apply, provided supervision can be arranged.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology evaluations and therapy services to students across various school settings.
- Manage caseloads that may require itinerant responsibilities between up to two different schools.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state licensure and educational requirements.
Qualifications:
- Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement.
- Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- Ability to work full-time, approximately 37.5 hours per week, across assigned school locations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Assignment Details:
- Location: Elgin, IL (Chicago area)
- Contract assignment from January 5, 2026, through May 20, 2026.
- Worksites vary, including early childhood settings and itinerant evaluations.
- Full-time schedule averaging 7.5 hours per day.
