This position is for a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working within a K-12 educational setting in Aurora, IL. The role requires onsite presence, providing services to students with speech and language needs. This is a contract position for the current school year (CSY), beginning immediately with the potential to extend through May 15, 2026.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Speech-Language Pathologist certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12)
- Ability to provide onsite services exclusively
Location:
- Aurora, Illinois (with placement within local school district)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct speech-language therapy for approximately 15 hours per week
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district guidelines
