Pediatric Speech Pathology - Aurora, IL
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to serve K-12 students in a school district near North Naperville, IL. This itinerant role involves providing skilled therapy and support to a diverse student population, primarily those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disabilities. The contract runs from the start date through May 22, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students ages 5–22
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and actively participate in meetings
- Monitor and document student progress regularly
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary educational and clinical teams
- Travel between multiple school sites with paid mileage
Qualifications:
- Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License (SLP or Clinical Fellowship)
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience working with school-aged populations, preferably including students with ASD and intellectual disabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within team environments
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Successful completion of fingerprinting and background check prior to employment
Position Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Servicing multiple school locations in an itinerant capacity
- Caseload size varies
