A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to serve K-12 students in a school district near North Naperville, IL. This itinerant role involves providing skilled therapy and support to a diverse student population, primarily those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disabilities. The contract runs from the start date through May 22, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students ages 5–22
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
  • Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and actively participate in meetings
  • Monitor and document student progress regularly
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary educational and clinical teams
  • Travel between multiple school sites with paid mileage

Qualifications:

  • Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License (SLP or Clinical Fellowship)
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Experience working with school-aged populations, preferably including students with ASD and intellectual disabilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within team environments
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Successful completion of fingerprinting and background check prior to employment

Position Details:

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Servicing multiple school locations in an itinerant capacity
  • Caseload size varies
