A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Arvada, CO, serving students with mild to severe communication needs. This contract role is based in a school setting, with a caseload primarily consisting of elementary and high school students. Candidates with experience working in schools and holding Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) are preferred.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive speech and language evaluations and interventions to students ranging from mild to severe needs.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary approaches to student support.
- Traveling within the district as required to meet student needs.
Qualifications desired:
- Valid active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification for school-based SLP services.
- Relevant experience working with school-aged children, especially at elementary and high school levels.
- Preferred candidates are those based onsite; some remote (Voco) work may be considered, but candidates in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CF) are not eligible.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel within the district.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple maternity leaves and filling critical gaps in service.
