A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a K-8 educational setting serving a diverse caseload of 50 students. This contract position is designed for the comprehensive school year and is located near Aurora, CO.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to K-8 students, focusing on individualized goals for both mild/moderate and moderate/severe needs.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in compliance with educational and state standards.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student communication goals and overall academic success.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license for SLPs.
- Experience working with K-8 student populations, including mild/moderate and moderate/severe communication disorders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and education staff.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and meet documentation deadlines.

- Serving K-8 students with a 40-hour workweek schedule.
