Pediatric School-Based SLP | Aurora, Colorado
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide comprehensive services within a K-12 school setting in Aurora, CO. The position is a contract role for the upcoming school year, offering the opportunity to work with a diverse student population across all grade levels.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide communication goals.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings.
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders affecting school-aged children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work full time from 7:15 AM to 4:00 PM.
