Speech Language Pathologist in Arvada, CO
This opportunity is seeking full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support students in a K-12 school setting within the Denver area. The positions focus on providing specialized speech and language services across multiple elementary schools and preschool programs, with an emphasis on bilingual consultation and child find initiatives.
Location:
Arvada, CO (Denver Area)
Assignment Details:
- Contract duration: January 1, 2026 – May 22, 2026 (with additional start date December 1, 2025 for one assignment)
- Full-time (35+ hours per week)
- Assignments include work at Bilingual Consultation Team, Malley Drive Elementary (Preschool Program), and North Star Elementary
- Single school assignment per position
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Candidates; SLPA applicants will not be considered
- On-site position only (no remote or hybrid options)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct bilingual speech and language assessments and therapy sessions for students
- Participate in Child Find initiatives to identify and evaluate children who may require speech-language services
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state regulations
- Provide consultation and support within the bilingual program to enhance student communication outcomes
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) certification
- Experience or interest in bilingual speech pathology services preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a school setting and engage with diverse student populations
- Professional, dependable, and able to meet deadlines and maintain compliance
