This contract position offers meaningful work throughout the current school year, providing support to students requiring speech and language development services.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as an SLP or SLPA
- Experience working with children in a K-12 educational setting
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and intervention strategies
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage caseloads effectively
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to evaluate student needs
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized therapy plans to address students' goals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with educational requirements
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support student success
- Communicate regularly with parents and educators regarding student progress and needs
