Job Description:
Blazer Jobs is seeking a licensed and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Aurora, Colorado. This full-time, onsite role involves working with students across various grade levels to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. You will collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to help students achieve their communication goals and maximize their educational potential.
The ideal candidate is skilled in delivering individualized therapy, conducting thorough evaluations, and contributing to a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to determine eligibility and needs

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to individuals and groups
-
Consult with educators and support staff to integrate communication strategies into classrooms

Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress notes, and reports
-
Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations
Minimum Requirements:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
-
Active Colorado SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under supervision
-
Experience in school-based settings preferred
-
Knowledge of IDEA, FAPE, and IEP procedures
-
Ability to pass required background checks and fingerprinting
