Blazer Jobs is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support a partnering school district in the Aurora, Colorado area. This full-time position is open to both local clinicians seeking school-year consistency and traveling therapists looking for flexible, high-paying contracts.

Position Overview:
In this role, you'll support K–12 students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs. You’ll collaborate with teachers and special education staff to conduct assessments, deliver therapy, participate in IEP meetings, and ensure students receive high-quality, individualized services.

Employment Options:
1. Local Path (W-2 through Blazer Jobs):

  • Full school-year assignment (August–May/June)

  • Weekly pay: $43–$55/hour, based on experience and credentials

  • Full benefits: medical, dental, vision

2. Travel Path (W-2 with Perks or 1099):

  • Flexible contract lengths (4–12 weeks or semester-based)

  • Weekly pay: $55–$65+/hour, depending on travel status and experience

  • Weekly gross: $1,900–$2,400, including tax-free stipends if eligible

  • Housing assistance, per diem, and travel reimbursements available

  • Multistate licensure and credentialing support provided

  • Ideal for SLPs seeking short-term flexibility with high compensation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to K–12 students

  • Complete evaluations, interpret results, and participate in eligibility determinations

  • Write and implement IEPs in accordance with Colorado guidelines

  • Collaborate with school staff, special educators, and families

  • Maintain accurate documentation and service records for compliance

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

  • Active Colorado SLP License (or eligibility to obtain)

  • ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered

  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly preferred

  • Must pass fingerprint and background checks
