What You’ll Be Doing
As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Aurora, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders that impact students’ ability to succeed in academic and social settings. You’ll provide services directly to students, collaborate with school staff, and play a key role in developing and supporting IEP goals.
Responsibilities:

Provide speech-language services to students in K–12
-
Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations
-
Develop and implement IEP goals
-
Document progress and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
Qualifications and Licensure
To be considered for this position, candidates must:

Hold or be eligible for a Colorado SLP license
-
Possess a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
-
Hold or be eligible for CDE Special Services Provider (SSP) certification
-
ASHA CCCs preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered with supervision
-
School-based experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
