A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Augusta, ME, serving elementary to middle school students. This contract role offers a half-time schedule (0.5 FTE) starting in January and continuing through the end of the school year. The caseload will typically include 20-30 students, providing an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners’ communication skills.

Key responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders; collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress; and documenting therapy sessions and progress reports in compliance with school policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Maine Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
  • Experience with elementary and middle school age groups preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
