About the Role:
The Auburn School District is hiring a compassionate and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist to serve students across a diverse and inclusive community. This district emphasizes early learning and equitable access to services, making it an ideal environment for professionals who are passionate about making an impact at all levels. The SLP will support students from preschool through secondary grades, using culturally responsive and data-driven therapy methods in both general and special education settings.
Key Responsibilities:

Administer assessments to identify speech-language impairments across all domains.

Collaborate in developing and implementing IEPs aligned with student needs.
-
Deliver direct and indirect speech services based on least restrictive environment practices.

Support students with speech, language, fluency, voice, and social communication challenges.

Participate in Child Find and early intervention processes.
-
Serve as a communication liaison for students with disabilities in inclusive settings.

Maintain compliance with IDEA and state guidelines for documentation and service delivery.
Qualifications:
Required:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
-
Washington ESA certificate or eligible to obtain.
-
ASHA CCC or CFY candidate accepted.
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented school system.
Preferred:
-
Experience in early childhood or primary school settings.
-
Bilingual (especially Spanish) preferred.

Familiarity with PBIS and trauma-informed educational practices.
