Speech Language Pathologist Needed (Tribal School Setting)

Location: Auburn, WA
Position Type: Full-Time Contract
Contract Dates: September 2, 2025 – June 30, 2026
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing qualified Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time school-based contract role in Auburn, WA for the 2025–2026 school year. This position involves supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), making it ideal for experienced clinicians with strong leadership and collaboration skills.
Requirements:
Candidates must meet all certification and licensure requirements as determined by the Washington State Department of Health and the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI).
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a school setting

Strong background working with special education students and their families

Prior experience supervising SLPAs or willingness to take on a supervisory role

Excellent communication, time management, and documentation skills

Proficiency with IEP development and service delivery
Typical Job Duties Include:
-
Evaluating students for speech, language, and communication disorders
-
Creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Providing direct speech-language therapy services
-
Supervising and supporting SLPAs, including reviewing documentation and treatment plans

Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
-
Attending IEP meetings and contributing to student progress reviews

Documenting therapy sessions, student progress, and compliance with service mandates
