Speech Language Pathologist in Oswego, NY
This opportunity invites a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Oswego, NY. Key qualifications and experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Experience working with children and adolescents in K-12 educational environments
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders effectively
- Strong collaboration skills to work alongside educators, parents, and other support staff
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs
- Monitor and document student progress on therapy goals regularly
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support communication development in various educational settings
- Provide consultative support and training to school personnel as needed
