A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year at a K-12 public school in Angola, IN. This role involves serving a student caseload of approximately 70-80, primarily within a non-public school setting that includes grades K-12 as well as Head Start programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students from kindergarten through grade 12.
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with licensing and Department of Education standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana SLP license.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Familiarity with school-based SLP practices and procedures.
- Experience working with diverse student populations, including Head Start programs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 7:35 AM to 3:25 PM.
- Contract position for the current school year.
