Position Overview:
Auburn Hills is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our student services team full-time. This position serves students across a variety of grade levels with speech and language needs that impact their educational performance. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students succeed, values collaboration with educators and families, and is committed to equity and inclusion in education.
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders

Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in accordance with IDEA guidelines
-
Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students in individual and group settings
-
Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress reports, and assessments
-
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student learning
-
Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development
-
Serve as a resource to school staff regarding speech/language development and strategies
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university

Current Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CF candidates welcome to apply

Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations strongly preferred

Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and school-based service delivery

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
