This contract position offers an opportunity to provide exceptional speech-language pathology services in a school setting located in Auburn, CA. The role focuses on evaluating, treating, and supporting students with diverse speech and language needs, delivering services either in-person or through teletherapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Deliver targeted therapy sessions aimed at achieving speech and language goals
  • Monitor progress and maintain detailed documentation of each student’s therapeutic outcomes
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including educators and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care
  • Engage with families to educate and involve them in the therapy process

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently while contributing collaboratively within a team environment
  • Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology for the respective state
