This contract position offers an opportunity to provide exceptional speech-language pathology services in a school setting located in Auburn, CA. The role focuses on evaluating, treating, and supporting students with diverse speech and language needs, delivering services either in-person or through teletherapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions aimed at achieving speech and language goals
- Monitor progress and maintain detailed documentation of each student’s therapeutic outcomes
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including educators and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care
- Engage with families to educate and involve them in the therapy process
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, families, and colleagues
- Ability to work independently while contributing collaboratively within a team environment
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology for the respective state
