School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Auburn, Alabama
This opportunity is for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to support K-12 students in an educational setting located in Auburn, AL. We are seeking two part-time professionals (20 hours per week with open days) and one full-time professional (30-40 hours per week) to join this contract position running from November 12th through the end of the school year.
Responsibilities include providing speech-language therapy services to approximately 30 students, spanning flexible age ranges most likely within K-12. The role involves itinerant work, requiring travel between two schools. Candidates should have experience with AAC devices and be comfortable with direct therapy services; however, responsibility for IEP writing will not be part of the role. Gas expenses incurred while traveling between sites will be reimbursed.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials
- Experience working in school settings, especially K-12 environments
- Proficiency with AAC devices and supporting students who use augmentative communication
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 30 students with varying needs
- Flexibility and reliability for itinerant service delivery across multiple locations
