Position Overview
In this remote role, you'll provide specialized speech and language services to students across grade levels. Working through virtual platforms, you'll design and implement targeted interventions tailored to individual student needs. Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive speech-language evaluations using standardized assessments
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized education plans based on student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services through secure virtual platforms
- Track and document student progress using assessment data and clinical observations
- Attend virtual IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams
- Provide consultation to classroom teachers and support staff
- Design differentiated instructional materials for remote delivery
- Build strong partnerships with families to support generalization of skills
Required Qualifications
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Georgia state speech-language pathology licensure
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Minimum 2 years of experience in school-based settings
- Demonstrated expertise with remote/virtual therapy delivery
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a virtual work environment
Technical Requirements
- Stable internet connection suitable for video conferencing
- Private, professional setting for conducting virtual sessions
- Experience with electronic health records and virtual collaboration platforms
