Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based Contract | Atlanta, GA | Local & Travel Opportunities

Full-Time | 2025–2026 School Year

Overview

Blazer Jobs is partnering with a trusted Atlanta-area school district to hire a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a full-time, school-based role open to both local clinicians seeking stability and travel professionals looking for their next rewarding assignment.

As an SLP, you’ll support students from PreK through high school, helping them overcome speech, language, and communication challenges so they can thrive both academically and socially.

Compensation & Benefits

Local Contracts (W-2):

  • $44–$50/hour (based on experience)

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

Travel Contracts (W-2 or 1099):

  • $1,512–$1,696 weekly gross pay (includes tax-free stipends if eligible)

  • Housing and meal per diem

  • Relocation & travel reimbursement

  • Day-one health, dental, and vision coverage

  • Credentialing, licensing, and onboarding assistance

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy for K–12 students

  • Conduct evaluations and contribute to eligibility determinations

  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in line with Georgia requirements

  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

  • Active Georgia SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)

  • ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; strong CFs encouraged to apply

  • Prior school-based experience preferred

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
